Formally known as “The Howl & Prowl”, Matt “Tiny” Romero & Chris Huber, two great minds, come together to bring you The Prowl. Once a year in March, the small hippie / artsy town of Bisbee, AZ gets taken over by a massive chopper get together. One of Arizona’s oldest and longest running bars lays in the heart of what they call “The Gultch” where the gathering takes place. Tyler, Kyle, Mikey, Jeff, Greg, Andy, Dan, Kat, and B all made the trek out for the festivities.
We first started off Friday in Naco, AZ / Mexico border to the Gay 90’s bar where we bought Tacos for everyone, the weirdo leprechaun showed up and we threw a ridiculous Pre-party. Filled with laughter, good times, story telling, dancing, food, beer, and a Mariachi band’s beautiful sounds floating through out air. The Gay 90’s bar is right next to the boarder wall which made for an interesting backdrop.
The morning came quickly as we had to set up our merch booth and bikes at the crack of dawn for The Prowl. We got a chance to see a ton of Customers bikes in person and even had the chance to talk to two of them on camera. Nick Turner walks us through his insane Shovelhead custom chopper build with all the Lowbrow parts he used on it. And later in the day Katie Loftus shows us her Freda Machine custom Sportster Chopper she built using our Sportster hardtail weld-on section. She goes in depth on what her build means to her, fighting cancer and inspiring women to build motorcycles.
The Prowl happens every year in March. So, mark your calendars, get your bikes into shape and ride out to Bisbee, AZ for one hell of a party!
