Relative-new kid on the block Davey Todd was slated to represent the Honda Racing team in this year’s Isle of Man TT onboard the brand new Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. The IOM TT 2020 has been postponed, but we’ve decided to share Davey’s insights of the track in this Isle of Man TT POV video.
Davey first made his full-road race appearance in 2018, when he finished the Isle of Man TT as the second fastest newcomer. And with a top speed of 127.890mph, it was a fantastic achievement for him!
This year, as Davey prepared for his first season with the new Honda Fireblade, the hopes were high for even better results. He shared how excited he was to race for Honda in the IOM TT but we’ll have be patient and wait until next year to see that.
In this IOM TT POV video Davey walks us through the different parts of the track, how they impact the bike and body, but he also draws attention to the amount of effort and precision required to achieve the best possible lap.
